What's next for KFRR now Adam Carolla is gone? Will they bring back Kevin and Bean or another Syndicaded show, or do a local morning show like The Hammer and Rash?

I didn't know? I doubt they would pick up MANCOW since KRZR tried him and I guess failed? What other syndicated morning shows are there? You know, here's an idea that might be cheap, if the station doesn't want to hire morning personalities, How about a Solid Morning Block Of Nothing But Music? No Talk At All (except for the commercials of course). They can call it THE FRESNO MORNING MY-POD, a play on the term I-POD.kenrayc said:

The FCC has never dealt in "FAIR"... don't get me started... the earth isn't flat... they don't get it.
as far as the future of KFRR... it looks pretty bleek. The station hasn't done well since the early 2000's...
when they had Howard Stern in mornings, and were a true ALTERNATIVE station...
but that format hasn't exactly been thriving lately.
My thoughts... blow up 104.1 and 105.5.
Make 104.1 a CHR/Top 40... (am I the only person that sees that monster hole in Fresno?)
Make 105.5 an Alternative station (devoid of all the "baggage" associated with the many incarnations of 104.1)
Maybe call it Live 105 and carry The Woody show from San Franciscos 105.3... CBS isn't in Fresno anymore, and probably wouldn't have a problem with it.
Just a thought.

if you count 104.7 from Merced, and trying to have a station that plays both Rock and Rap don't make since anymore ,this isn't the old days of top40 ,formats are all separated now.
106.3 was hardly a "TRY"... it was a "JOKE"
if there was no country station in Fresno, and you started a new one on 106.3... it would have a 1 share... that's not a Fresno signal.
104.7 doesn't crack a 1 share most of the time in Fresno... don't count that either.
and 94.9 and 97.1 aren't HIT MUSIC STATIONS aimed at adult females.
They are VERY slow to play (if they play at all) music from Rihanna, Lady GaGa, Pink, Kelly Clarkson, Katy Perry, Black Eyed Peas (do the math... these are some of the biggest selling artists on I-tunes... people are spending MONEY on these artists... and no station in Fresno is superserving that audience?)
as far as 104.1 doing "better" than KRZR... that's not saying much... that just goes to show that there's WAY too much ROCK in Fresno, even the once mighty KRZR has become so fragmented by Jack, The Blaze, The Fox, and now the new 107.1.
Lets just be honest... most of 104.1s recent numbers were coming from Carolla... with him gone... good luck!
