I caught Hayworthless this afternoon. I made this official transcript.

Did they have better luck today (Friday) with the 4:20 traffic/stopset
than they did yesterday?

On Thursday, starting during the Traffic Twins and running through
most of the spots, 55/FYI had double audio going, about :09 apart.

At first I wanted to call and tell the board op to "stay in (language)
delay or get out of it, but don't do both"--actually I think that is
impossible to do--but when I timed it at :09 instead of :07 I figure
they must have had (going through the language delay) both live
analog audio and the :09-delayed I-CRAP--oops, I mean IBOC--
digital audio on the air simultaneously.
 
Wow. KFYI people talking out of both sides of their mouths?

Has anyone told them that is not the way that "stereo" works?
 
Xtra (KGME) had 15+ minutes of double audio going today before someone finally woke up. That should NOT be happening in a Top 20 market. Sad!

AND PEOPLE THAT LEAVE THEIR CAPS LOCK TURNED ON REALLY DEMONSTRATE THEIR CREDIBILITY.
 
radio-info board admin will ban you from this website if you use all caps...

even though we type all caps for our news & production scripts, because it's easier to read and type.
 
porfavor, When you have a PD who doesn't have a clue what's going on...the parking lot (KGME) sounding like high school radio is the probably least of the worries over there.
