KFYI New Saturday Line Up

Looks like KFYI also has a new line-up on Saturdays:

6:00 - 7:00 -- Paid Programming

7:00 - 8:00 -- In the Garden with Brian Whitfill

8:00 - 12:00 -- Dr. Bob Martin Show

12:00 - 3:00 -- Car Pro Show

3:00 - 6:00 -- In the Kitchen with Jan D'Atri

6:00 - 7:00 -- Fitness Talk with Lance Dreher

7:00 - 8:00 -- Kim Komando

8:00 - 10:00 -- Terry Gilberg

Sounds like the Best of Rush is now on Sundays, instead of Saturdays.

You can almost call this "pay for pray."

7:00 - 8:00 -- Kim Komando

Now it's only one hour that 55/FYI carries? Wonder if the Nearly Bald One
has complained internally about this?

Brian Whitfill rocks. This guy has been on KFWhyEye since the dayz of 9~Ten and could sell a 24 inch boxed naval orange to a bunch of losers from Buckeye who'd take it home in the back seat of their Gremlin.

Oops

4 freaking hours of Dr. Fraud? Which means its 22 minutes of content and 3 hours and 38 minutes of him selling "Poop Doc" the colon cleansing pill.

The car show sucks too.

And Komando gets one hour? Geez, that is brutal. Screech Gilberg gets 2 hours? The lovable one must be kicking her nutcase ass in the ratings.

Shows that have their own sponsors seem to get priority, like Dave Ramsey, and Doc Martin. Handel is too left for the KFYI crowd . Only one hour of Kommando? Does this mean the Barry Young juggernaut is crumbling?

Thank God for Uncle Jaybird! TG on Saturday night and "Best" of Beck on Sunday night-horrors

Handel is Libertarian and seemed to be doing pretty well on Sunday afternoons, or so I thought. There seems to be no rhyme or reason behind the new schedule at KFYI.

Libertarians, e.g. Charles Goyette, have not been in demand at KFYI. The whole KFYI line-up has been trashing Ron Paul. Handel made Rush Limbaugh listeners mad when he filled in once on a last minute emergency basis. On air people have to stay on-track by regurgitating the same boiler plate views on foreign policy, social issues and economic policy to be in kfyi prime time, or most conservo- talk stations for that matter.

I believe that Jim Sharpe of KFYI is also Libertarian. I listen to Rush when possible (though not Sean or Beck) and I listen to Handel's L.A. show when I can-I don't begrudge Libertarian's their differing opinions, and I doubt most conservatives do.. Goyette wasn't let go because he was Libertarian.

I've listened to Handel since 1993. I don't remember him ever saying that he is a Libertarian. He's always been for national health care, pro choice, and pro legalized drugs. (he's a reformed cocaine addict)

He definitely has no love for Ron Paul. He has said recently that he will vote for Mitt Romney if he gets the nomination.

I consider him a moderate.

JMHO

I looked it up, he's "non-partisan", can agree with Right or Left, depending on the issues. I think I heard him say on Handel on the Law once, regarding a topic (drugs maybe?) , that his opinion was libertarian, and guess I took it to mean with a capital L. Still, Handel on the law, though politically incorrect, didn't really get too political. Can't see it offending KFYI listeners and having to be moved to the middle of the night. ???

I should have specified that I've listened to his daily morning show since 1993. :)

He did mention that Handel on the Law was taken off the air after 1 week when he was syndicated on KSL in Utah.

I agree with you that he does play it down the middle more on the national show.

From what you have described, seems pretty progressive to me (especially in Arizona)! :D

He makes fun of Stephanie Miller on his week day show, and his sports/politics guy Rich Marotta is a real progressive, so he tends to stay away from the far left rail.
