KFYI News Director Michael Anthony has crossed the street and is now the new News Director at KTAR.Tammy Rose also left KFYI for KTAR.Ken Voight left KFYI last week... ???
 
Kinda old news on the first two items...Tammy Rose has been at KT'R for several months and STILL can't pronounce the "A" in their calls. Ken Voigt wasn't on his Saturday morning two hour shift...but Nurse Jeff and I never understood the purpose of those two hours anyway. Between Dr Bob and Keith DeGreen, weekend mornings are a waste at KFYI :mad: Let Brian Whitfill do two hours on Saturday morning...he's more interesting than a rehash of Friday's news ;D ;D

Yes, Mike Anthony and Tammy Rose went from 550 to 620...What about the converse? From 620 to 550:Laurie (Parsons) CantilloMelody BirkettJim SharpeDave MoskowitzDeanne PoulosBart Graves(last two now earning bigger bucks as PIO flaks)(Not to mention Goyette...plus Fogelsong from 550 to 620--and Heywood's ping pong history...)Will Mike Anthony grab anyone from 550 for 620?Jared Serbu is strong...though so is Doug Ramsey (who went from KJZZ to KTAR)
 
Jim Sharpe began his talk radio career with KFYI when it was at Nine-10, then moved down the dial to be paired with Heidi Fogelsong at 5-Fifty. An opportunity to co-host mornings with his soon to be ex-wife at KT'R saw Jim leave and Bill Heywood resurface at KFYI. With only two major talk stations in the Valley, it's not unusual to see the migration. Plus the death of non-competes helps too!

...and what about David Leibowitz. Sure, he's crossed over..and back...and then back-over. Alas, he too is making more green in the PR pasture. I hear it's 6-digits at an advertising think tank..anyone know when we'll hear the KTAR FM?

a real life "freinds" I hope they use protection....it is like they all slept with each other ........Barry Young said that any time someone leaves 550 it is a step down.....
