KFYI On-Air Glitches

What in the wide, wide world of sports (thanks, Doc! ;)) was going on over at 55/FYI
on Monday night? Dead air (carrier on, no programming) from around 10:30-10:45.
Then, a music feed started. I thought at first it was the Indian music format that runs
on Lumberyard 1440 in the afternoon, but it turned out to be the KZZP 104.7 signal.
(Is that what CHR is these days? ::)) After a couple minutes, C2CUFOs returned.

Then more tech problems right after the TOH--the Fox News feed ended at 11:05,
followed by a minute of dead air. At 11:06 the C2C second hour open started for
about :02, followed by dead air for another :15 or so, then finally the show came
back on.

They must have a weird router or patch panel down at the Cheap Channel compound!
 
I've also noticed they have a tendency to play a commercial over another commercial. Bad enough having to listen to one now we get double the pleasure. Sometimes they even run over the talk show host's (read: Rush) intro.

A great way to increase revenues.... until the advertiser hears it :eek:
