I've seen mixed comments regarding KFYI's Terry Gilbert on this board. Honestly, I've only listened to her show a handful of times. In the times I have, she seems fairly knowledgeable and passionate about what she discusses.

Does she have baggage? What's her story?
 
I've often wondered this about Barry Young's sidekick Michelle Larson.
What station did she come from before this? She brags about living in N. Scottsdale & all her new stuff, she must have a sugar daddy ...or does she make that much working 3 hrs a day?
 
Terry is a seasoned journalist (radio, TV), a former teacher, a mom (a great mom at that),daughter of a military hero, wife of a cancer survivor, she is very into catholicism, history, family...I lover her to pieces but I have trouble listening to her, she reminds me of J.D. Hayworth as far as her delivery.

She was OK at first but then, she went into kookville, agreeing with guests about chemtrails, birthers, etc.

The show is too screechy for me.
 
She's always had an edge, even back when she was working fulltime at 10~Ten AM. But hey, it's KFWhyEye..were you expecting toaster talk?
 
I turned off Terry Gilberg for the same reason I turned off Dr. Laura: although our politics are compatible, I always felt like I was getting a lecture from each.
 
I listened to Terry Gilberg last night-she was good! Her voice sounded lower and she was not screechy. She interviewed Dave Moskie regarding Bill and Susan Heywood and the Memorial. Switched back to jay after the interview.
