KGB 101.5 from 1959 to 1968

Hey Guys:

Can anybody tell me was KGB 101.5's format between 1959 and 1968 Beautiful Music or Classical?

I saw in the broadcasting yearbooks 60 to 68 that the Program was seprate from the AM.

Thanks

T.J.

Don't recall how early they started running one of the Drake Chenault formats but 101.5 (KBKB back in those days) was running Hit Parade in 1971 and that had been going on for awhile.

Before KHJ went "Boss" , they were playing "The Cavelcade Of Hits" format. Adult standards, instrumentals and some newer "subdued" R&R.
KGB-FM was substantially the same until they went Hit Parade in '68.
