KGEI towers in Redwood Shores

I am aware that the shortwave station KGEI is no more. Their towers are still standing and lighting up at night in Redwood Shores. Are they being used as a back-up for another station in the Bay Area? Also, were these the same facilities once used by KNBC?

The towers that are still standing in Redwood Shores are the main and backup towers for KNBR. The KGEI facilities are gone, and there's now a church in what used to be the transmitter building.<P ID="signature">______________
