KGIL Flipping?

Ziegler not withstanding, a lot of bizarness seems to surround this particular 1260 flip. I got an e-mail, being on Ziegler's list, stating that a story from his perspective which he wrote for The O.C. Register was quashed due to legal saber rattling from Mr. Levine. Could a "The Real KGIL" website be on the horizon?

But what I find really strange was the addition of Fred Thompson and Dr. Dean Edell for not even two weeks. If you were going all music why not just do it, in the past Saul has just flipped, often overnight. Today I got an e-mail from Glenn Beck offering me a deal to join his insider website in order to keep up with him. There is a story here and I would love to hear it. Added to the mystery is that with the addition of Ziegler they seemed to be advancing, though minimally, in ratings. I'd love to know what really happened.

Maybe Glenn Beck should have purchased the station to keep his show on in LA. For some reason his syndicator can not get him cleared on any of THEIR local signals. He and Lars Larson could have gone together and been co-owners, Ziegler is broke but the other two have enough between them. I have always been mostly in support of Mr. Levine but this time I am truly astounded, I think he has slipped a cog or two.

For what it's worth, I read today that the back-up plan for KKGO if the tower on Mt. Wilson fails is to move the country format to 1260 AM.

I read the article that he wrote. Let's just say that it is still available to read. Try a Google search.

From what the article said, he was this close ===== to getting a syndicated talk show from TRN.

Paul Freeman announced at about 6:40 p.m. this evening that if the fire got to Mt. Wilson, they would operate at reduced power. A 540 and 1260 simulcast.
