Back to the topic at hand (I think), which is "Dreadful Mysteries". I remember the show back in the mid 60s, with the original host, Claude the Magnificent, which I found out later was none other than Jim Dunbar, who spoke with a faux Transylvanian accent. The 2 hour show included vintage radio dramas "Secrets of Scotland Yard", "The Lives of Harry Lime (a.k.a. 'The Third Man')", "The Scarlet Pimpernel", and "The Black Museum". I have very fond memories of this show as a kid. I know that most, if not all of the radio dramas are available via various online sources. My question is does anyone here know how I might be able to obtain the original "Claude the Magnificent" segments? My thinking is to start by writing to KGO, but my expectations aren't real high for any response. I was wondering if there might be an easier way?
