KGO NOON NEWS IS GONE!

It was a sad goodbye to the KGO Noon news today. The anchors got to say goodbye and talk about the past. They remain employed at the station. It will now be replaced by the lawyer Len Tillem and his legal advice show (12:05 to 12:45 p.m. weekdays) It has broadcast Saturdays (which will be dropped) and Sundays (which will remain) from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Paul Harvey will still be on at 12:45 p.m.

So it sounds like free legal advice is expected to draw more of an audience than one-hour of hews. It may certainally draw in a lot of different audience and possibly younger.

Is personal legal advice and hearing about others legal problems more of a draw than knowing what's happening in the news?

Let's hear your comments and opinions on this.

You can get news anywhere anytime. I think it's a good move. however i think Kenny from Concord needs his own show on KGO :D

Great comments Laffer, If I had anything to do with radio, I would get rid of one of those Liberal Talk Shows and bring in a Oldies format!! Onward yesterday I finally went out and got Sirius, wow that Sirius gold is great, The all Elvis Channel is great too!! Sirius has got a Dynamite platlist , XM and Sirius, the way to go! The only talk show host worth listening to is Mike Savage # 1 in the ratings, with me anyway! This guy tells the truth, a little loud but Thats an easy cure, volume down!! Right now this minute 720 am "Mockingbird" Charley And Inez Fox on Sirius Gold, Life is good !! 6 XM subs and 1 Sirius Kenny in Concord

everytime I call that tillem show..trhey won't take my call...they say to call Mic Finney...I call his show and they tell me to call Tilham.....the show is a great rain maker for a law firm that is for sure... Citidel knows that news rooms cost money...a reporter in the field is a big workers comp risk...just from car wrecks, slip and falls , etc.
