No, I don't have any stake in KHCB. I must know more than you about radio. I'm sitting in the shadows turning a profit with no ratings at my station. Look at sports talk ratings...generally quite low but good revenue and therefore the thing that matters is keeping the lights on not the number of listeners. If a station that chooses a music format that targets a tiny fraction of the total market, sells enough advertising or brings in enough in donations to make it, then everybody is applauding them. Just because KHCB utilizes a teaching/preaching format and shows poorly in the ratings has to mean one thing: the listeners they do have make sure the bills are paid. The only thing that matters is bringing in the revenue because without revenue the only format option you have is termed "Dark".
