KGSR now "The New Ninety-Three Three"

No a fan of that kind of music but I wish them luck. I know a station like this in San Antonio would take a hell of a lot of cume out of the pop stations.

Maybe this is a good idea for 106.7? Or 105.3 could tweak a little. All due respect to KTFM though, Dominique. :)
 
Sad that Austin is a college town and how boring the radio is.

I think the fans of alternative music deserve their own station. Pop music is so different than it was a mere 10 years ago. In 2002 alternative music was still a large part of pop music, today it is dominated by "Hip Hop". If this kind of station format came to San Antonio I think Mix and KTFM would take a huge hit.

Oh, saw that now. I just wasn't paying attention when I posted the message, was used to it still saying you were at KTFM. Good luck where you end up next, sir. :D

I've heard -- but haven't confirmed -- that they are doing pretty well numbers-wise in middays thanks to the tweaks.
