KGTV (San Diego) and Cool TV

It looks like KGTV (San Diego) (ABC) will be the latest casualty for Cool TV.

I noticed that the PSIP now says LWN (Live Well Network) rather than Cool TV.....

That's a shame for KGTV proper, because they will run LWN in HD and as a result the ABC main channel will suffer HD degradation. KABC-7's ABC main is a pixelated mess because of LWN running concurrently in HD on their subchannel (which IMHO is absolutely worthless for the dreck that is shown on LWN).

Are you sure that KGTV will run Livewell Network in HD? So far, it's only ABC O&O stations that run it in HD. The affiliates have been choosing to run it in 480i in either 4:3 or 16:9. When it does go to Livewell Network, check to see if it'll run in HD (not likely, since Scripps hasn't run LWN in HD on any of their other stations), or 4:3 or 16:9 480i.

KSHB not in HD because just got it this week on 244 by other Digital Sub Channels and KMCI HD on 807 all know waiting for is IONTV'S Digital Sub Channels,Bounce TV and others in the future.

What in the heck are you trying to say?

Sorry to be rude in pointing this out, but this is not even the English language...just a bunch of words strung together...

Live Well Network is kind of a poor man's HGTV...terrible hosts, camera, second rate production...

All the Scripps stations that were under McGraw-Hill ownership have switched from TheCoolTV to LWN (with the exception of Indianapolis, in which their station already had LWN).

I'm waiting for a Phoenix station to pick up Antenna TV. I don't care for the upcoming Cozi, although I think the NBC station here will jump aboard since the competing FOX O&O's are in bed with AccuWeather (the company providing the current weather service used on 12.2).

The problem with Antenna TV is, from what I read, they want the station to have 80% cable coverage for the sub-channel in a market before they will affiliate with the station. https://www.facebook.com/DiginetCen...?comment_id=1858828&offset=0&total_comments=8

KTVK 3.2 now has carriage on the largest cable system in the Phoenix market (which makes up the bulk of the market's cable subscribers), but they don't take ThisTV seriously. It makes sense for them (and Belo, which could also put Antenna TV on its Spokane station currently with TheCoolTV) to make the switch.
