KGTV Traffic reporter

Just noticed yesterday on the early morning and late afternoon news shows, that KGTV has just started having a new reporter handle the traffic maps and then hand it off to the CHP officer with the CALTRANS cameras. For years, traffic on 10News was always done by the CHP Communication Center, but now it seems that they need their own reporter to show the traffic maps.

Is KGTV going to drop the CHP portion of their traffic reports soon?
