Viewing Alert: It's this week and I understand the station will be presenting some features celebrating the occasion.

Hopefully they'll also be posted online.
 
KNUZ-TV lasted less than a year on Channel 39 in 1953/54. It was 12 and a half years before KHTV signed on. Other than the fact they occupied the same channel allocation, there is no connection between the two.
 
I don't think 39 has ever acknowledged KNUZ-TV in any of it's retrospective/anniversary offerings. Would like to see something from those days now that I think about it

Was the old 39 in the same building? If not, I really doubt KIAH has any of KNUZ's old material... film, photos, sets, etc.
