KGYN

Logged KGYN (Guymon, OK) Tonight In Mckinney, TX

KGYN has a null in this direction, but not exactly in this direction so I guess some of the back power comes this way.
Signal was quite strong at times. Faded often into static, but it was the only thing on the channel.

I've never heard it here in the Chicago area, but others have.

I am fairly convinced KGYN-1210 runs their Non-Directional Daytime pattern at night on a fairly regular basis... I say this because I have frequently found them crushing WPHT-1210 out of Philadelphia on Saturday evenings at midnight Eastern time here in Lexington, KY. There is a Trivia Talk show on WPHT at that time that I enjoy listening to, and several times since the first of this year, I can't hear it due to KGYN's robot country music just dominating the frequency here in East Central Kentucky. I've also noted KGYN being loud at night here on several other occasions over the years.

I'll have to listen more often.
