Alaska KHAR 590 & KOAN 1080

While listening through an online kiwi sdr I noticed KHAR 590 playing soft oldies instead of sports. Not that I am complaining, but when did the change in format happen. Also what happened to KOAN 1080 I have noticed it has been off the air for a couple of months with no word from the owners
 
KHAR switched from Sports to "America's Best Music" from Westwood One. It happened on April 1.

This article says it is now playing Adult Standards. But ABM is really soft oldies most of the time. You may get a standard once or twice an hour. But it is usually very familiar and may have made the Top 40 charts. Sinatra, Dean Martin, Nat King Cole and a few others.

KHAR wont amount to much, but itll be nice for the older listeners... though it might get some more listeners than sports did.

KOAN 1080 has had repeated issues and off air times last for days, weeks or months.

I've heard KRLD several times qutie well with KOAN off
