KHAT & KNIX Memories

Hello, Everyone! I'm new to this site and am not sure this is the correct place to post this. I am looking for anyone who might have known local Phoenix radio personality, Chuck (Charles) Mills. I believe he was a DJ with KHAT in the late 60's. He may also have been at KNIX in 1970. Thanks! Susan

Chuck also worked at KOOL, KUPD, KRUX, KBUZ, and probably a dozen other Phoenix stations over his long career. He was a good friend, and passed away circa 1994-95.

Question: Since I don't recall a Chuck Mills working at KOOL-FM, I wonder: did he use the name "Chuck Boozer" while there--that is definitely one name I remember from the station between the mid- and late 1970s.

Chuck Boozer was a different person. I remember him from KBBC in the mid '70s, and also as a classmate of mine at Mesa Community College at the same time. I didn't know him well, but IIRC, he was a nice guy.

When I googled Chuck Boozer, a gentleman on the East Coast came up as being in radio currently and has been hor a while. Maybe the same guy.
