KHGE-102.7 Now "Country Christmas"!

I read in All Access that KHGE-102.7 is now "All Christmas"! Actually "All Country Christmas Music".

This early, KJWL waits til Thanksgiving, KHGE is a joke from the start, CC keeps this lame station and gets rid of KRZR, there's not much more that I can say, Cheap Channel Sucks.

When a station flips to Christmas (that's not AC) it's usually the sign of a format flip.
This station will become Regional Mexican at the first of the year. They are not
a Country Christmas station, they are playing non-Country XMAS songs. Stick a
fork it - It's done, as sure as we for told the demise of KRZR.

If thats the case, then CC could be moving "La Preciosa" from 92.9 to 102.7, being that 92.9 is in The Aloha Trust and must be sold by CC, do to CC having to many stations in this market, as ordered by the D of J.

Hey maybe who ever buys 92.9 makes it KRZR, hey it happened in San Jose with KSJO 92.3.

Haven't heard them. On their website, they advertise as "Your Country Christmas Station". Didn't know they play all types of christmas music.

92.9 was transferred from the Aloha Trust back to Clear Channel (or whatever holding company they use for the Fresno stations) quite some time ago. The issue was the Arbitron definition of 'home market' and CC resolved it by moving KBOS to the Visalia market (on paper only, no change to facilities).

Flipping 102.7 to Regional Mexican makes a lot of sense, but that doesn't mean Clear Channel will do it.

Now that KHIT 107.1 is gone, maybe they will go Classic Hits or a JACK-FM format.

Well looks like nothing has changed, country is still on 102.7 rebranded as "102.7 The Wolf":

How original "The Wolf" like what 105.5 was a few years ago. There just going the continue get bad ratings competing with KSKS 93.7, which is local. I'm surprised that CC didn't make the station a Jockless Classic hits stations like JACK, BOB FM, etc... since KHIT is gone.

Sounds as if someone threw a bunch a names into a hat and this was the result.

Here's one for you. Name the stations in Fresno that are actually worth listening to.

Yeah this isn't an Entercom Wolf with seamless imaging and branding. It's
the case of just calling it the brand and not imaging around it.
