KHHL Application

I noticed last week on the FCC site that KHHL has an application to drop the power from 25kW to 6.74kW and raise the antenna height at a new site (for them)in the west Austin antenna farm. The class will go unchanged.

This is a fantastic move considering that the land at the current tower site is probably worth more than the station.

KHHL is BMP's crown jewel.

The west Austin sticks have excellent line of site coverage of the populated areas of the market. Heck, even a Class A would (and did in the past) have good coverage.

I'm increasingly losing track of all the upgrades plus format/call/frequency changes of this license since its origins as a Lampasas Class A on 99.3 many years ago. There have been a bunch.
