KHHT HD2?

I'm sure glad I check HD's each day, as KHHT HD2 music
looks to be more uptempo--and an energetic jock,
reminds me of Magic 92.5 in San Diego. Also, unrelated,
I had a suspicion 96.3 finally fixed their HD after
nearly 3years?
 
The following links at least have the stations/frequencies listed - not all frequencies are always broadcasting and the format descriptions are outdated at times:

General HD radio site with search function: http://www.hdradio.com/
For L.A. specifically: http://www.hdradio.com/stations/California-CA/Los+Angeles-45

TuneIn is usually (but not always) more updated (most stations are listed in order of frequency from lowest to highest - but the list "doubles back" and starts all over with non-streaming stations. Thus, you'd have to look at all 121 stations listed for L.A. to get the full picture):

I said for many years at HD radio's inception that the next person I meet that actually has one will be the first. Several years went by and I adjusted the statement to say the next person I meet who actually uses HD radio would be the first, because I knew several people who had it in their new cars, but either didn't know about it or didn't use it even if they did. With such poor product support, who can blame them?

But now that is changing. HD radio has been tortoise-slow to catch on, but there is now a population of users who do actively use them, and as of this weekend, with purchase of brand new shiny car, I have joined them and have been experimenting with it for the last few days. Verdict, there are a few really good ones such as the KROQ "ROQ of the 80's" stream (that's before you were born kids, when the station was actually good) and the KKGO classical and Go Country Classics. Even the "KOST Classics" isn't bad, although I highly doubt Free's "Alright Now" was ever in rotation at the station in the first place. KTWV's "real wave" (my term) channel also adds a nice bit of flavor. But I gotta save the last shout-out for the KLOS-2 stream, which is running KABC in clear stereo. Now, when I don't listen to KABC, I won't have to not hear all of the static either - or something.

Mazal Tov flipper on your new car. I also just got into a new vehicle two months ago and have been enjoying HD radio (along with SiriusXM which comes free for the first 6 months). My HD picks include Evolution on KIIS-HD2 (just replaced Club KIIS last week), The Current on KPCC-HD3, Eclectic24 on KCRW-HD2, as well as KROQ2 that you cited. I am disappointed that KSWD's second channel is waisted as a Mormon Channel. That would have been the ideal place for a currents leaning AAA station. Also disappointed that KPWR-HD2 has an Indian format. That would have been a good home for a classic dance format (similar to what KBIG and KMVN used to provide). I wish that KCBS had retained Last.fm on their HD2 signal, but they replaced it at the beginning of January with the new CBS Sports network.

I am of course aware of their ownership, and thus the reason this HD2 channel exists. My comments relates to market value and demand. KSWD came on the air as a AAA and morphed into a classic rocker. It would have been nice to see the AAA music at least find a home on the HD2 channel, similar to how fusion jazz is mostly found now on KTWV-HD2, and KRTH oldies are now relegated to KRTH-HD2.

One idea would be for KSWD to launch an HD3 and move the Mormon Channel there, and then program AAA on HD2.

I noticed that KSWD ran a heavy spot load on this past weekend's SNL touting their broad music library. I had not seen aggressive TV advertising from KSWD before, so (wishful thinking) they could parlay this into developing a AAA HD channel to provide further proof of their broad based approach to rock music.
 
KTWV HD2 does not stream KOST HD2 carries Big Classic Hits via iheart radio last time i checked a few years ago. I liked KOST classics
 
I too got an HD radio with my new 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe....the only disappointing thing is my morning commute is from Azusa to Fontana, so I lose most HD reception right before Upland on the 210.

Last I checked, KKGO no longer had classical on the HD, but classic country and a standards format.

Also, I thought the Bollywood (Indian) station was gone from KPWR HD2 replaced by Chinese radio. Nonetheless, useless to me.

KIIS HD2 is by far one of the best and KYSR HD2 is okay too with an active rock leaning format. Also enjoy KRTH HD2...although it was better when they were commercial-free. I noticed as of late, CBS HD2 stations now have a short commercial, usually the same one, every so often. But I figured, the ad free radio wouldn't last forever.
