For the record, Diana was at FM 92 The Beat (later known as 92.3 The Beat). She was not at KKBT during the "Rock With A Beat' days.
Diana is great. A wonderful sweet, warm intelligent person. But would Radio One hire a blond white woman for V100? Diana had killer numbers during middays at The Beat. Diana was on between Big John (Monds) also now at V100 who did mornings at The Beat prior to John London's arrival. Cliff Winston did afternoons.

Well, RO did have a White Woman on air at WRNB in Philly, so Diana Steele isn't too far fetched. It isn't because she's white, it's because it would make too much sense. Something RO isn't known for, remember this is the same company that told Harvey to go take a hike, only to watch him sign with Clear Channel and kick Tom's butt in many markets, including right here in LA.

Isn't 100.3 a full singal?
Since Diana Steele is a well known personility in LA . I say that Radio-one teams Diana Steele with Cliffton Winston. I think they will work out well very well since they worked together backed in the day.The Rock with a beat days. She know's good R&B music.
And believe me. She might help 100.3 move up some what.

I would be delighted to inform you that you may be right long term, but look for the wonderful Diana Steele to make a talk show debut tomorrow on KFI. I can't remember what time she's going to be on, but I'll bet she does FABULOUSLY! I'm glad that we didn't let her leave the building! She may know a lot about music, but I'll bet she knows a lot more about a lot of other things too. She is much more brave than I am, but I bet she's a whole lot smarter too. Good Luck Sista.
