KHIT 107.1 is no longer a Classic Hit Format, playing Spanish language
Christmas music at this time.

What else is new??? I am not a bit surprised! That certainly isn't the first time that has happened in this town! Like I said before, "Welcome to Fresno, Mexifornia."

I'm just glad LA is not having the crappy radio Fresno has...

when are they going to learn...if you want numbers go local, that's why Peak dominates...they aren't that much better than everyone else...just local

Wow, "local" what a concept. Maybe not economical, but a concept. When you stop trying to re-refine what everyone has already done and be unique and, yea well, "local", it just might work, until you drown in an overloaded radio market, and dredge for business that can't afford to advertise... Yea the economy sucks. But what a concept!

This station was Spanish before it was Spanish. I remember when it was KMMM. Isn't most of the radio stations that Lotus own Spanish?

Yes all Lotus Fresno stations, except 105.1 The Blaze, are Spanish, They have Rock stations and Spanish stations in Las Vegas, Bakersfield, and a few other cities.

For Classic hits of the 60s and 70s, KABX 97.5 has that covered, and KKBZ 105.1 The Blaze has the best Classic Rock IMO.

This station was set up to fail. No live and local staff, cept' mornings, the
music was too Classic Rock (Eagles, Elton John, Fleetwood Mac). They
never played The Greatest Hits of All Time. No Motown, soul oldies,
bumblegum of the 60's, no British invasion...

Classic Hits KCCL- "K-Hits 92.1" in Sacramento plays everything you mentioned. Yes, they play Eagles, Elton John, & Fleetwood Mac, but "K-Hits 92.1" also plays Stevie Wonder, The Jackson 5ive, The Bee Gees, Wild Cherry, The Ohio Players, Elvis Presley, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Animals, Herman's Hermits, and The Bay City Rollers.
