This aircheck was recorded on May 1988 before it became KOFY-FM. Note 98.9FM San Francisco as of 2023 is known as KSOL-FM.
These have been part of the Mike Schweizer Collection on archive-dot-org for 15 years or more. Looks like Radiomania is now lifting stuff from elsewhere online.
I found them but didn't know the airchecks originally belonged somewhere else.
Yes. Mike Schweizer was a broadcast engineer. He started taping Bay Area radio stations as a teenager---his earliest stuff goes back to 1967, and there are 290 airchecks. He passed away in 2011.
