KHJ 1968 on Youtube

I spotted these airchecks appearing on Youtube this week. They pack decent quality audio (~9 kHz) so I thought the collectors here might appreciate having a heads up.

The uploader created a nice nostalgia effect, pairing them with period stock footage of L.A. Somebody could probably make a very successful Youtube channel out of this idea -- combining airchecks with stock film from the same city, in the same year.

Anyone know what kind of processing KHJ was using that year, by the way? I can't believe I'm listening to pure monoband units here.

There are hours of unscoped KHJ AM without the stock footage on YouTube. Someone even posted the Real Don Steele from the 2 part Ben Franklin episode which was edited to a one part episode, and then edited out the RDS

He was a great host. Love hearing his airchecks.
