KHJ To WABC?

Has anyone at KHJ ever gone to WABC? I can not think of anyone.

I just heard a Roby Yonge interview. His plan was to go to KHJ then WABC. He went straight to WABC. Has anyone ever done KHJ to WABC?<P ID="signature">______________

Well, not KHJ to WABC. However, there have been a few other RKO-Drake station refugees that have...

WRKO's Bobby Mitchell went to WABC as Frank Kingston Smith
WOR-FM's Johnny Donovan went to WABC as...uhhh...Johnny Donovan

Part of the problem is that WABC's lineup, for the most part, until the mid-70s stayed pretty static--Ingram, Lundy, HOA, Harrison, Greer, Leonard. All those guys were there for runs of more than 7-8 years, and some reached double digits.

There were also lots of KHJ guys that made their way to the other ABC stations (WLS, KQV): KFRC/WOR-FM's Sebastian Stone (KHJ and KQV's Johnny Mitchell) being the most memorable.
