Pretty much. Except KNDE plays Daughtry and Matchbox 20 into their mix. I have yet to hear either of these artist on KHJZ.

Think of KBXT met KNDE and made a baby.

Well, While I have this post open already, any guesses if Smooth Jazz will appear in 95.7 HD-2? It's kinda hard to predict since Both KHJZ and KILT don't have a second stream.
Ah...but what if he's right?!? Look how quiet it has been on the divesture of KLOL in the last week or so. CBS is very much in the sweepstakes for KLOL and Buzz/Mix and could be preparing and strengthening the other parts of the cluster......you never know.
Thanks !!

from what it says on KHJZ the wave's website it says that they will be moving to HD-2 so yea i guess thats what to expect there next

I just heard Finger Eleven's "Paralyzer" on Hot. Its now being followed by Taylor Swift's "Teardrops On My Guitar" so its not just Rhythmic hits on the station. One Republic's "Stop And Stare" is also being played this hour.
Here are some of the stations the new Hot 95.7 will be similar to:
Z-107.7 St. Louis http://www.mediabase.com/mmrweb/AllAccess/Stations.asp?c_let=KSLZ-FM
Channel 933 San Diego http://www.mediabase.com/mmrweb/AllAccess/Stations.asp?c_let=KHTS-FM
Radio Now 100.9 Indianapolis http://www.mediabase.com/mmrweb/AllAccess/Stations.asp?c_let=WNOU-FM
Q-102 Philadelphia http://www.mediabase.com/mmrweb/AllAccess/Stations.asp?c_let=WIOQ-FM
106.9 K-Hits Tulsa http://www.mediabase.com/mmrweb/AllAccess/Stations.asp?c_let=KHTT-FM
Hot 107.9 Syracuse (93 Q in Syracuse sounds a lot like KRBE) http://www.mediabase.com/mmrweb/AllAccess/Stations.asp?c_let=WWHT-FM
103.5 Kiss FM Chicago http://www.mediabase.com/mmrweb/AllAccess/Stations.asp?c_let=WKSC-FM
97.1 ZHT Salt Lake City http://www.mediabase.com/mmrweb/AllAccess/Stations.asp?c_let=KZHT-FM
104.5 SNX Grand Rapids (105.3 Hot FM in Grand Rpids sounds a lot like KRBE) http://www.mediabase.com/mmrweb/AllAccess/Stations.asp?c_let=WSNX-FM
96.5 kiss FM Cleveland http://www.mediabase.com/mmrweb/AllAccess/Stations.asp?c_let=WAKS-FM

After listening all day, I've figured out that it's ONLY currents, and power recurrents... I've only heard 1 gold all day.

Whheeeew, for the first two hours, it was a different story at KHJZ.

FYI Johnny, they also played "Sorry" by Buckcherry and Paramore's "Misery Business".
The station has a Rhythmic leaning slant, but they'll likely still play all the really big Pop/Rock titles that perform well on the CHR charts.
Most of the titles you'll hear in a given hour will be somewhat on the Rhythmic side, especially at night, but this is all too common on many of the nations CHR/Pop stations.

I'll now retract that statement. After midnight, it's playing many recurrents as well... seems that the playlist has became alot my broad... it's sounding beautiful.

Everyone knows that, but like I stated, my judgement came from the very first 2 hours of the launch. I guess you didn't read that.

OK, now I'm really liking this station. KRBE might be in serious trouble. XM aside, I can finally listen to CHR radio without putting up with Sophie B Hawkins and Sheryl Crow (KRBE). Two thumbs up!

KRBE's target is 18-34 women, while being PPM friendly. Are you a female in those demos?

Come on David, I don't know of too many CHRs, especially in the bigger markets, that still have Sheryl Crow in rotation.

They wish. It's now an "Adult CHR", which tends to naturally lean toward an older demographic.

Sounds like the station is looped I heard the same 2 songs back to back yesterday & today I bet it is only a 3 to 8 hr loop

Stations don't "loop", but I've noticed a few flaws... nothing major. Seems like "Bubbly" always comes 2 songs after "Love Song"... this can be a 'dig' issue in selector, and me catching the same clocks... other than that, it's a great product! The fast rotation going to create cume like crazy.

No, I'm not but that's irrelevant. Hawkins and Crow just don't belong on a CHR in a major market. KRBE is not Hot AC or any variation of it.

I wonder if they are going to have Kidd Kraddick in the morning or does 96.5 cover it?

kidd kraddick is only on clear channel stations like mix 96.1 kxxm san antonio, and jammin 105.9 kfmk austin.

the only station that is likely to do so would be mix 96.5, i doubt that koda would have him in the morning. But sam malone would make a perfect fit
