Anyone know anything about KHLE Kempner 106.9FM? It was licensed to Burnet with a "Pirate Radio" format. Apparently, they changed the city of license to Kempner (a very small town in Lampasas County) with a transmitter on the west side of Copperas Cove giving them coverage of Fort Hood and Killeen. Radio-locator says they are country. A friend listened to them in Copperas Cove and said they were an AC "Pirate FM" station. He said the signal was fairly week, which would lead me to believe they might still be in Burnet and haven't moved the transmitter. I can't find much information on this station, if they are live/local or what. Anyone know?

It looks like the license for the CP was granted in September, so if the signal is weak, they could be at low power, because to be granted the license, they had to operate from the new facilities.
