KHLT gone?

It seems like KHLT is off now gone. I noticed in the ID's on 92.5 that they only say KTXM and KYKM now. To bad, 1520 had the best coverage over all of them.

KHLT was sold to Matt Provenzano the owner of of KYND-AM in Houston (which is on the same frequency of 1520) earlier this year. Rumor has it he will either turn off KHLT permanently to improve KYND's signal, or move KHLT somewhere else. I'm guessing its days in Hallettsville may be over.

I think you misunderstood him, Stan. The owner of KYND 1520 in Houston has purchased KHLT 1520. The idea would be to take KHLT dark or move it further away from Houston so KYND could upgrade its signal and cover more of Houston. I don't know how feasible that is, but that's been the rumor for quite some time.
