KHLX 93.1 HD

They must be testing and getting ready to go hd. My Sony XDR-F1hd home tuner detects an hd signal and defaults to that but at this time it is silent , making the station inaudible. I hope they do an HD2 as smothe jazz. I was recently in Norfolk Va. and their smothe jazz station was alive and well at 107.7. The River 105.5 from Modesto is streaming on the web and fills the void left from the demise of 94.7 to another nondescript rock station.

I managed to pick up KHLX's HD and It sounds like the HD-1 is up and running,I wonder if they will add an HD-2 soon.Maybe Real Oldies(Its more of a Classic Hits Channel,Its on In SF on 103.7 HD-2) or The Smooth Jazz Channel (A Soft AC/SJ Format,Like the one Airpab keeps talking about,Its in SF on 98.1 HD-2)

All of those would be great options. I tuned the station yesterday. The HD indicator would stay locked but the audio would drop out for a second or two periodically. Still fine tuning the transmission?

Just curious..why would you listen to smooth jazz on HD2 when the signal sucks. Go to any Radio Shack and if they even have them and if the salesperson knows what HD2 is you cannot hear any stations without putting up an elaborate antenna system.

Have you heard of Ipods, Internet streaming or Pandora?
