KHLX 93.1 Pollock Pines - Audio Improvement!!!

Driving towards downtown Placerville yesterday, I tuned in KHLX and was pleasantly surprised their audio from the past several months has greatly improved! What gives??? Short of the over-compressed audio and the aweful audio data reduction in the music, they don't sound bad. The bottom end is much fatter, the stereo separation sounds fantastic and they are loud. The jingles are a bit cheesy (aren't most?); otherwise the overall product (song selection) is good and the spotload is full.

Thoughts???

I emailed the station a few weeks ago about the audio quality. I had to explain to them it wasn't the transmission itself, but the quality of the audio that was the problem. I can get the signal ok. I noticed Monday of this week the improvement you speak of. It makes the station A LOT more enjoyable to listen to!

Yeah, for a little while the high end seemed to be kinda flat, and I wondered if anyone else noticed it.
