Hello fellow radio lovers and EDM fans,
I have been on this board for some time now, and I am surprised KHOI hasn't been on here.... well I suppose if no one is from the central Iowa area here, I can kind of understand that. Anyway, I work for KHOI community radio station that has been on the air now for about two years now on 89.1 MHz, and I have been programming and DJaying the over nights (12 Mid - 4am) with various shades of EDM tracks. From Deep House, Disco House, Trance, Synthpop, 80s Club New Wave, Indie electronic rock, and later in the night chill, ambient, IDM music. I do a show called Introvertia and my DJ Name is DJ Surreal. I make sure the format sounds tight and do a lot of production for it. If you are in the area, check it out! The signal is a 2.75KW signal reaching about 40 miles (with fringe). We plan to be streaming soon.
