KHOP Loses its PD...

to WFBC/Greenville. The story from AllAccess:

---
As ALL ACCESS hinted yesterday, CITADEL Top 40 KHOP/MODESTO PD CHASE MURPHY has resigned after nearly 4 years to accept the PD chair at ENTERCOM Top 40 WFBC (B93.7)/GREENVILLE, SC. He begins in mid-DECEMBER.

CHASE told ALL ACCESS, "Words cannot express how excited I am to join the WFBC team! I look forward to working with the motivated staff at ENTERCOM/GREENVILLE. My wife Christal and I would like to thank ENTERCOM/GREENVILLE VP/Market Manager TOM DURNEY and ENTERCOM Sr. VP/Programming PAT PAXTON for this tremendous opportunity!"

DURNEY added, "CHASE was our first choice! He has an exciting appproach. He's enthusiatic and he's done his homework on the station and the market. With that knowledge and energy, he will recharge the station."
---

So who do we think will replace him???
