KHOU sends CBS shows to cable

I believe Channel 11 is doing something right-By sending its Must CBS Thursday line up over on Time Warner Cable, so they can keep alerting its viewers on the latest as the hurricane moves inland. I think channel 11 is utilizing its HD technology-Like multicasting 2 or 3 channels. It might work for Daytime TV, Sports, and other primetime programming, whenever they cover breaking stories-Like Hurricane Rita-over on the main channel. It might work for Channels 2 & 13, as well.
Edited by TroyG on 09/23/05 12:55 AM.

Also it seems that they are broadcasting Their Primetime Line-up on TV 51 KNWS as of 8:30 when i tuned into that channel does anyone have any info on this

KHOU HD

the 3 primetime hours were shown on the 11.2 channel last night.

I guess this is one of the advantages of having Time Warner. I didn't know TW was moving KHOU additional feeds to a new channel. I have Directv and HD.

KHOU also broadcasted the WWL-New Orleans news for almost 3 weeks on the 11.2 channel.
______________
