KHOV-FM TO MOVE TO 105.1 @ 100kW

Just found out they plan to move from 105.3 class C2 @ 6kW to 105.1 class C0 @ 100kW from the same site near Wickenburg. Would this cause problems for KFLX-105.1 in Flag??

Check the service contour map in the link--it's a DA with
a couple of nulls, including one toward the KFLX site.

I wished somebody had done this when it was KRDS...

Heck I wish Toberty had bought 105.5 in the mid-1990s for the $150,000 they asked for it before K-Love-Your-Money picked it up.

A cool station might have kept on going....

James Toberty.... As a broadcaster, he made a GREAT real estate developer. You're absolutely right about KRDS. It was a cool station back in the day. It's a real shame they didn't pick up a better FM signal.
