That would be my guess as well. As is the nature of our business, the more things change, the more things change. With 2 country outlets in the same town covering the same demo, I would assume that they may take the station to a new format. What's missing?,, let's see, you have alternative KMAC in Gainsville, Hit's 96 as a classic rock hybrid, and you can pull some AC stations out of Fayettville and Springfield. Maybe a Smooth Jazz format?, not likely, If it were my money, and I knew that it would fly, I'd create a classic country station. There seems to be a nitch for it in certain markets. But that's just my opinion which doesn't count for much since I no longer live in the area. One of the fastest growing formats seems to be Adult Standards, heck give that a go or bring back the old Z format. Hope your well man..
