KHPK simulcasting KJJM

I assume you mean 3.1 is 34.1, etc?
No, check 28. I can't even get a bar with a 300 watt "powerhouse".

Yes, it's 28, which is KHPK's analog (not digital) channel. Yet I see frequent digital-style errors. It's as if they're receiving 34.1 with a converter box and feeding the video to their own transmitter. Well, I guess that's better than a test pattern.

Channel 3.1 is being simulcast on channel 22, KNAV's analog channel. KHPK and KJJM are both owned by Mako. KNAV is not, but there's always been a close relationship between KNAV and Mako's LP stations.

It also looks as if they downed the power.

According to THIS TV's Facebook page, it starts at 12:00 AM Oct 20, in less than 3 hours!

ThisTv: THIS TV launches on Oct 20, 2009 on WFAA, channel 8.2 in Dallas, TX.
Start your day with an MGM favorite, "Flipper" and end it with the
classic, "Benny and Joon" on THIS TV. Watch THIS TV on WFAA!Launch in Dallas
Time:12:00AM Tuesday, October 20th

Looks like Ch 8 and THIS-TV didn't make it at the designated time and date.

A phone call to Ch 8 earlier today resulted in a return call and an update..

"WFAA's ThisTV channel launch has been delayed a few days due to some technical issues. But it's coming soon! So stay tuned to WFAA's 8.3! We hope it won't be delayed long."

The technical issue must be with WFAA alone. thisTV launched today in Phoenix on Belo's KTVK, right on schedule.

Yeah, 28 is completely off the air now - almost as soon as they replaced the color bars with actual programming (even if it was just a simulcast).

Gems TV is gone from 3.2 also. It's now just a green screen with a telephone number.

Yep, and now KNAV is off the air too. They filed for a digital companion station several years ago, and more recently for a digital displacement. Unfortunately their channel choices have been terrible both times. The companion was to have been on channel 12, which would likely interfere with KXII; and the displacement was to channel 29, which went to KTXA instead. So KNAV's future is far from clear.
