FWIW KHPK is simulcasting KJJM, as of 4:20pm....
No, check 28. I can't even get a bar with a 300 watt "powerhouse".tested said:I assume you mean 3.1 is 34.1, etc?

It also looks as if they downed the power.JHBrandt said:eskipper411 said:No, check 28. I can't even get a bar with a 300 watt "powerhouse".tested said:I assume you mean 3.1 is 34.1, etc?
Yes, it's 28, which is KHPK's analog (not digital) channel. Yet I see frequent digital-style errors. It's as if they're receiving 34.1 with a converter box and feeding the video to their own transmitter. Well, I guess that's better than a test pattern.
Channel 3.1 is being simulcast on channel 22, KNAV's analog channel. KHPK and KJJM are both owned by Mako. KNAV is not, but there's always been a close relationship between KNAV and Mako's LP stations.
No clue. The deal was mentioned in Broadcastin & Cable a few weeks back.Megapsycle said:tested said:Megapsycle said:Over 50 channels now. Why can't DFW get a channel like http://www.this.tv ?

Good! Is there any certain date when?

"WFAA's ThisTV channel launch has been delayed a few days due to some technical issues. But it's coming soon! So stay tuned to WFAA's 8.3! We hope it won't be delayed long."

Yep, and now KNAV is off the air too. They filed for a digital companion station several years ago, and more recently for a digital displacement. Unfortunately their channel choices have been terrible both times. The companion was to have been on channel 12, which would likely interfere with KXII; and the displacement was to channel 29, which went to KTXA instead. So KNAV's future is far from clear.eskipper411 said:It also looks as if they downed the power.JHBrandt said:Yes, it's 28, which is KHPK's analog (not digital) channel.
