KHSE 700 from Dallas area

Early this morning (5/21) between 2 - 3 a.m. CT, I noticed another station on 700. It was playing Asian music, and I thought the announcer mentioned "Pan-Asia" Radio, though they likely said "Fun-Asia" radio http://www.funasia.net/ and mentions of the 214 area code, which is the DFW Metroplex. Not a bad signal in WLW's null in Northern IL, though the truckers were probably not amused by the interference trying to listen to ATN overnight. The station must have been on daytime power as there is a lobe in the general direction of IL for their daytime pattern, but not at night (understandable). KHSE is 1.5kW daytime, 0.92kW nighttime. First logging for me other than WLW on 700 kHz. Did anyone else hear KHSE last night further east than their expected coverage area?

good catch. KHSE throws a good signal at night around here in DFW.

Thanks! I had been hearing KHSE a couple of nights in a row, after May 21st, late, after Midnight CT, more like 2-3 a.m. Not heard by me in the early a.m. the last couple of nights since I haven't been up overnight. It was absent Sunday night, so perhaps they fixed the problem. What we need is text alerts...some of us would have liked to log something other than WLW on 700, I'm sure!

About 3 AM EST I heard a very faint music on 700 underneath WLW and WOR's hiss machine, with the Sangean PR-D5's internal loop oriented toward TX/NJ. I don't know if it's KHSE or not, however. It could be.

KHSE noted here too last weekend and very strong at times against WLW, with Asian music. I couldn't get a positive ID but I don't see anything else on 700 that fits the Asian programming that I heard. This was heard between 9-11pm EST.
