This is showing up in slightly different form on a service I subscribe to. See attachment. Almost a year ago I posted here that this is exactly what would happen. It's now a civil matter. Maybe somebody will win damages in court one day, but the license is not coming back.

For this to be a civil matter, someone will have to show standing. I see none. Time to move on.

Hey chris i'm hearing 1150 is calling everyone i know to see if anyone will take it. AM in this market makes no money!
Now =that's- an interesting question. Did he purchase the land where the towers are located on time, then default on the loan and force the lienholder to foreclose on his purchase? Did he unload the license on an unwitting buyer, claiming the station would cover Houston? Did he transfer the license to said unwitting buyer, then complain that he couldn't get a transferred license back? Did he go out to the transmitter site in his employer's truck, on his employer's time, and attempt to trespass on the property so he could chain himself to the base of the tower? Did both the city and county law enforcement officers come out and prevent his civil disobedience?

The individual in question is only interested in interfering with stations with whom he has had a prior relationship. To my knowledge, he has never had a prior relationship with KBPO.
