KHVL 1490 - Huntsville

So, KHVL is now broadcasting at 104.9 in Huntsville. How are they doing this? I don't see a translator or LP in the FCC records.

I heard them on 104.9 driving down I-45 in October.

As for the translator, it is in the FCC database as K283AW 104.5 Huntsville with a CP to move to 104.9. So, the FCC doesn't show it yet on 104.9 and with whatever new calls (K285--) a 104.9 translator would have.

http://transition.fcc.gov/fcc-bin/fmq?call=K283AW

It does show for the 104.9 CP: "This station rebroadcasts KHVL (AM)."
