Kicking Around The Bull

From tonight's OMW:

<a target="_blank" href=http://ohiomedia.blogspot.com/2005/08/yes-our-report-was-nouhbull.html>http://ohiomedia.blogspot.com/2005/08/yes-our-report-was-nouhbull.html</a>

It sounds like new Clear Channel Ashtabula station WYBL/98.3 is indeed ready to unveil "98.3 The Bull" on Tuesday morning at 6.

Any comments regarding the prospect for the station's success up there? Does WKKY/104.7 basically swear off going east of Geneva after this? Is it a "perfect fit" between the existing CC Ashtabula stations, or do they run the risk of cannibalizing classic rocker "107.5 The Fox"?

(Note: Edited to correct the latter frequency...)

Uhhh. "107.5 The Fox" maybe :)
105.7 in Ashtabula County would still be WMJI

Yes, 107.5. Radio dyslexia! The change has been made.

Honest, I had 107.5 in my head.

:D
