Kicks 101.5 !

We just bought a home in the Atlanta area. Lived my entire life in the NYC area. I just wanted to say that Kicks 101.5 does a GREAT job with their programming and morning show! By far the BEST Country station I've had the pleasure to hear. The New York City area needs a "big sounding" country station like yours! Good job Kicks!

Welcome to Atlanta KS. If your used to quality exchange on this site like NY or wherever you posted in the past, you will be sadly disappointed. I"m sure everyone at Kicks will be thankful for your comments in having their efforts appreciated. It takes coming in from outside to maybe appreciate it. This by the way is in stark contrast to the people who have never run a radio station, been talent long term on a radio station (generally), or accountable for the long term success of an operation but have lots of opinion for those who do. Randy said it clearly in a post yesterday. BTW...Freebird Moby was over at least two years before he was out at Kicks. If your life depended on it, you would make the same decision Kicks made.

you are so uninformed. where do you get your info? From Moby? Kicks is usually between a high 4 and low 5 share 25-54...pick any demo, NGC is maybe a .6, YAY averages under a 2.0 share. They dont come close. if you contribute, be acurate with what you have to say.

I agree with Clark and Mr. Uno that Kicks sounds very good. (I'm pretty sure he owns Uno's Steaks & Sushi.) Kicks has a solid staff of true personalities, and I think Mark Richards is a master of formatics.

One thing I do want to mention is that comparing the 25-54 shares of Kicks with WNGC is apples to oranges. Kicks puts a city grade signal into virtually all of the Atlanta metro; WNGC puts a city-grade signal into a small part of it. WNGC could be broadcasting the cure for cancer and would still get tiny ratings in the Atlanta book.

I know the difference and agree Roddy. This guy seems to feel that NGC in Athens outdraws KICKS in mornings. I simply pointed out the obvious. Even in near counties, to someones point, KICKS blows them away.

I'm on board with that, the Caddy and Kristen morning show is really the show to watch. They have great timing great material surrounded by great music. They set the pace for the rest of the day. Se Atlanta needed the Bull for what reason? ??? Oh that’s right Home of the Braves and American Pie.

WNGC does better thank Kicks in many metro counties... mainly north and east of Atlanta (Gwinnett, Hall, Forsyth etc). Moby on WNGC has put a very small dent into Kicks and Eagle. WNGC will never be at the level of Kicks in Atlanta, but Moby has taken back some of his Kicks listeners... and WNGC is creeping up on Eagle. With Moby on WNGC and now with The Bull in the picture, Eagle and Kicks have taken a hit... maybe a minor one, but they have.
