Anyone know if Rob Lee or Kevin O'Brien is still employed at Kicks. I know both were doing production work, but CMT Radio Live has taken over Rob's spot on-air and was wondering if he was let go because of it.

Not sure about Kevin, but yes, Rob Lee is still there. He is working overnights and on the boards.

Rob Lee has been on from 10PM-2AM and on Sundays. Kevin O'Brien is no longer with the station.

I don't listen to country much now, but worked it for several years in my hometown of Columbus between two stations from 1989-93. Doing overnights in country was undoubtedly one of the funnest jobs I've ever had, even if now in the IT field I've gotten bonuses bigger than an entire year's salary in radio!

Before Kicks got CMT radio live,Kim Fitz wa on 7-10pm and did the top 8 @8,I figured she would give that up after she got married.I was listening to Kicks last weekend and I hear someone identify himself as John Mcfadden,he sounded alot like Chris Carter.

Yes I was wondering who that was also.....my question is why would they be getting more DJ's when they got enough now. I mean you got Fitz, Steele, Lee and Carter. But I guess Carter has been doing alot of long weeks lately doing morning traffic and then weekend fill in!

John McFadden did weekends on Star 94 a few years ago. I think he works in the record business or some related business.

off topic, I noticed this morning while pulling up the Bull, that Kicks is now on iheartradio. I think that was reported awhile back that some Cumulus stations would now be on there.

Yeah, that was the deal where Cumulus stations would go to iHeartRadio and CC would promote SweetJack. So be prepared to hear twice the SweetJack commercials now.

Kevin Steele is on Saturday mornings,until recently he was on Sunday afternoons as well. I haven't heard Evelyn Kay's beautiful voice lately,is she still with Kicks?
