Kicks before Moby

Ok,I know I'am dating myself here, but i'am trying to remember who did mornings in Kicks before Moby, something keeps telling me it was Johnny Gray, someone plase tell me if I'am right.

Rocky Marlowe did mornings before Moby, however he did not last long. Johnny Grey did mornings on AM-590 then would simulcast 101.5 after 10am Johnny would fill in on 101.5 in the mornings from time to time. Back then it was know as "Atlanta's Country Leader"

Gary Kinsey was the second guy to do mornings on KICKS. A weather guy at The weather channel was the first morning guy on KICKS believe it or not. KICKS started with scripted breaks and a no on air personality sound. Ted Stecker was the PD.
Kinsey was the second morning host and things started to loosen up a bit. Stecker left. Kinsey went to middays and stayed there till he retired. I was working 6 to midnite on SAT/SUN and doing relief when Kinsey started mornings around 81/82.

Actually Kinsey did mid days on Kicks until 2000 when Y changed to Eagle and Caddy came back to Kicks to do afternoons and Kinsey went to Eagle,at first he did overnight, then when Conors left for B98.5,Dallas went to afternoons and kinsey was back in his old spot.

I thought Garry Kinsey was a quality jock who fit in well in middays on Kicks. Former PD Dene Hallum did not agree with me. Dene moved him to overnights on Eagle.

Dene made alot of moves that didn't make sense,he replaced Neil McGinnley as pd at Kicks,Dene is the one who fired moby if memory serves correctly.

No. Dene wanted to keep Moby. General Manager Victor Sansome made the decision not to renew Moby's contract.
