Bandy And Bailey have got to be the two most boring morning guys in the Southeast. Do these guys EVER do any show prep? Jim Vann has been out on vacation this week, and the show's been like listening to the lively conversation in a morgue. If it weren't for Jim Vann's humor, that show would be intolerable.
Then there's Jill. No one's ever told her that she's not supposed to be her own laugh track. She'll say something that she thinks is amusing and dissolve into her own laughter. Deborah Richards she'll never be, no matter how long she stays on the morning show.
KICKS is totally vulnerable, just like any other business who is the only game in town. An aggressive new competitor with a stong signal would make both stations more competitive, and we in Atlanta might just get better radio product. But, really......what are the chances that's going to happen? Cox and Clear Channel don't seem interested in competition for Country dollars.
