I'm getting it in Walters, OK. Cool station! They play a lot of country, a lot of Hot AC sounding stuff, I even just heard some classic rock on it! It's branded "The Big Station" with a slogan that goes something like "The Best of Today's New Hit Music!"
Definitely something you won't hear on corporate radio.

Or a streamfor those of you who can't listen over the air... http://crystalout.surfernetwork.com:8001/KICM_MP3.m3u

I used to be able to pick up the station in parts of the OKC metro, especially in the mornings. Pretty interesting mix of music. Lately, it has been covered by a low power Hispanic broadcast of some kind. I haven't been able to find anything in the FCC database that shows we should have any translators on 97.7 in the OKC area. Could the Hispanic broadcast be a pirate operation?

I'm not sure it is the El Reno translator I am hearing. When K249EN comes online, it is planned to rebroadcast the 88.5 KZTH signal. The broadcast I am hearing on 97.7 comes in with full quieting in the central and southwest parts of town. It was broadcasting a Spanish language broadcast at low volume. it does not broadcast 24/7. It did not come in for me when I was in Yukon last week.
