While KNTV runs the Giants games - this was announced today. For those people who do not have cable sorry Charlie. Biggest Loser will be on Tuesday evening which is part of the NBC primetime linup.
In other words, are you implying that NBC will be on KICU only for cable subscribers, and those who watch KICU through an antenna will get only their normal schedule?
Bay Area subscribers who have cable and the local San Jose Antenna people will be able to watch Biggest Loser but people in the SF/East Bay Area who don't have cable and only depend on their antenna will not be able to view KICU.
KICU is owned by Cox broadcasting, the owner of KTVU. Is this some sort of deal with NBC buying KRON? And are SF antennas receiving different programming from KICU? How does the transmitter differentiates the receiver as to what shows they see and where they are located?
I think Newschannel4SF is implying that signal coverage is the problem due to terrain. But that's also going to be true with KNTV. The predicted coverage for the both stations encompasses all of the major cities of the Bay Area, but actual coverage will vary.
