Funny, I heard the same think awhile back and nobody thought it was true. Although I don't think it's happening in the next 31 days.
 
Well, if it's true - congrats to them! I'm still trying to get Byron to return a phone call! With all the movement in the market lately - this should end up pretty interesting!

How does 7 to 9 compare with morning drive? This was an easy decision. A talk station would never pay what a hip hop morning show would pay.

If the rumors about Phil Hendrie on KTAR are right, I'm stunned. That's no Ded Simons or Jay.

And here I was hoping that he would be taking Pat McMahon's place....

As long as it is a talk radio format, I don't care, also As long as he has a "DAYTIME", show. really like Listening to "NRA NEW'S" on SIRIUS in the 6-9 pm slot. ;D

If it airs a s the same time as Pats show, ill be turning over to 101.5.
 
Good for Kid, he is an agreeable guy.

But, I don't now, nor will ever listen to HipHop, so I won't be listening to him.

I wish him well though.

OH man I dint realize that 101.5 was hip hop. :(

We need "KID" in talk not music radio, he is one of the best that we have in this market. I hope KTAR don't screw it up and let him go. Like they did with Lebo, heck they let there good guys go and keep the ones that put you to sleep. :(

So if its announcing on 92.3, that would lead a guy to believe he is getting a better time slot 1-3. Why would he announce on KTAR that he is leaving for 101.5.

When a personalty leaves a station the station that is left keeps there mouth shut.

The personality never makes any sort of announcement, on the station they are leaving. or do they?

Russ Hill is a class act and KTAR will miss him, I can't blame Kid and Ruben for wanting one more try at the morning time slot.

Good luck Kid, Ruben and Eric. I'm sure you'll blow what's there name on Kiss fm in the morning away.
 
I am suprised and impressed by the way KTAR is handling this situation with Kid, being so open and allowing him to talk about it on the radio.

I have a new respect for Russ Hill given the way he and Bonneville have handled Kid's departure. Hats off to you, Russ! 8)

Now, if Kid were moving to KFYI, I imagine that Russ would still be a gentleman about the move, but would not allow Kid to talk about the move. 101.5 is not in direct competition with KTAR, so the discussion of the move does not damage KTAR. In fact, it makes KTAR look good. Nice PR.
