Kid Chris cranks Mike Misanelly

I think when they crank call stations is funny as hell.....old trick but still funny. Misanelly was one of the latest. Do the guys they crank call ever try to take action against them?

While it can be really funny at times, it does scream UNORIGINAL and UNCREATIBE. Pranking a call-in show is often pretty simple and has been done and re-done so much that your standard prank just doesn't cut it anymore. Kid Chirs's guys aren't especially creative. It's nothing Cat. Janks wasn't doing 15-20 years ago. Only Stern's guys have evolved waaaay beyond this elementary level stuff.

In the early days of the afternoon show, they were served with paperwork, I think from sister station WPHT.

I agree with the earlier post that talked about how uncreative this is. Think about it...How hard is it to make a crank call to a call-in show? And does Kidd Chris think this will make anyone listen to his show? I can't see someone listening to Missanelli and hearing a Kidd Chris call, and then deciding to listen to Kidd Chris the next morning.

First of all, his name is Missanelli. Not that hard to get the correct spelling.

More broadly, I agree with the posters who think the crank-calling gimmick is boring and immature. Gee, how talented you must be to be able to pick up a phone and give a fake name. That shows creativity...not.

"imhomerjay", I'm generally a fan of your posts, but those ending a sentence with "...not" shouldn't be passing comedic judgement on anyone.

I'm totally with you on the spelling of "missanelly" though. Come on Reggie!

Ah well, it was just an attempt at using slang. It's probably outdated bu now; I'm far too old to keep up with what's currently accepted. Perhaps it needed some kind of extra designation to make that clear, such as italics or an exclamation point.

I agree the crank calling is a little old. One of my buddies said he heard Missanlli say he was having Akers on. Didn't they get in a huge fight a couple years ago

I'd take Akers in a fight against anybody. He's a kicker, so you know he must kick some mean a...

I met Akers at the Eagles Open house last year or so....Akers has tree trunks for legs. He would def. win in an a55 kicking competition!
